Purpose

The Hong Kong, China foreign exchange market is an international forex market that has developed since the 1970s. Leveraging its advantageous geographical location, open financial policies, and mature financial system, it has become one of the world's important foreign exchange trading centers. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team traveled to Hong Kong, China for on-the-ground visits.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team went as planned to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker BESTOPEX. According to public information, its office address is "RM.517, NEW CITY CENTER, 2 LEIYUE MUN ROAD , HONGKONG, CHINA.  HONGKONG".

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors, proceeded to Hong Kong, China according to a well-planned schedule to conduct a physical verification of the broker BESTOPEX claiming to be located at "RM.517, NEW CITY CENTER, 2 LEIYUE MUN ROAD , HONGKONG, CHINA.  HONGKONG".

The inspectors successfully arrived at the target building – New City Centre, located at No. 2 Lei Yue Mun Road. The surrounding area is relatively bustling with a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no company signage or relevant information for BESTOPEX was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspectors entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security personnel. After communication, they obtained permission to enter. No information about this company was found on the directory board inside the building.

Upon reaching the target floor, the 5th floor, the inspectors found that the office area of BESTOPEX had no obvious signage and no security measures. However, due to reasons such as lack of appointment, the inspectors were unable to enter the interior, could not photograph the reception desk, and the office area was not a shared workspace.

From the public area, as the interior could not be clearly seen, it was impossible to observe the company's internal environment, etc. No information about this broker was found, raising doubts about its authenticity.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that broker BESTOPEX does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site investigator visited the forex broker BESTOPEX in Hong Kong, China as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, the company name and other information of this broker could not be found, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
